Supporting climate-resilient urban planning: 10 lessons from cities in southern Africa

The projects – FRACTAL (Future Resilience for African CiTies And Lands) and its successor, FRACTAL-Plus – took place over a seven-year period (2015-2022) in nine cities in sub-Saharan Africa. Insights from the lessons learnt project brief offer a shift from product-driven to process-driven climate services, emphasizing relationships & networks.
