Regan Mudhar

I am a third year PhD student at the University of Exeter, where I study the “stratospheric pathway” linking polar climate to midlatitude weather and climate extremes. I look at the role of the polar vortex in the proposed Arctic amplification to midlatitude winter weather link, as well as investigating whether there is an attributable signal of sudden stratospheric warmings in mortality outcomes and energy demand and production across Europe and North America.

I am supervised predominantly by Will Seviour, with Dann Mitchell as one of my co-supervisors.

When not staring at my computer, you can find me either sharing science with the public or at a gig somewhere in Exeter (and beyond!)
